My Sister’s Keeper, Jodi Picoult

More progress on another bucket list item!

2. Read 20 books

I had been meaning to read this book for years. I’m not even sure what took me so long, because my cousin let me borrow her copy for the longest time. I think it’s because I sort of knew what I was getting myself into… Jodi Picoult never fails to overwhelm me with tears and way too many deep thoughts about life and whether I’m making the right decisions.  To find out more about the book, look at Goodreads.

I absolutely cannot wait to watch the movie…

But I think for my next book, I’ll choose something a little lighter… Book number 3 is going to be Rick Mercer’s A Nation Worth Ranting About.

Only 18 books left!

1984, George Orwell

Glad to say I’m making progress on another bucket list item!

2. Read 20 books

I’m now 5% complete… Only 19 more books to go.

I actually started this book during the summer, read about 20 pages or so, then went on doing summertime things like drinking beer in the sun, swimming and listening to country music.  I thought I’d pick up where I left off and thank goodness I did – it was such a good read.

To find out more about the book, look at Goodreads (one of my favorite sites).

Any suggestions for what book I should read next???  I’m thinking Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom or A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
